Miss Dandelions Cousin # 1

Took a macro shot of the dried blossom that I call a cousin to the dandelion.  I like the starburst effect.  This is actually called Goats Beard.  I like the abstract look it has.

Lavender cheescloth grunge background.

I was dyeing some cheescloth and while still damp I placed it on card stock and ran a brayer over it. It left a grunge look which I like in certain applications or backgrounds. Enjoy.

Lavender texture background.

I used this in the back of one of my journals. It started as some wallpaper which I did not care for the color so I painted it this lavender color then ran some sandpaper over it. It is very textured.

Creative sandwich using MistyFuse etc

This is the kind of sandwiches I love making! Took a painted sheet of watercolor and sprinkled cut up cross word letters then pressed on a sheet of MistyFuse to make a sandwich. Cut up to use in ATC's etc. Have I inspired you to make some sandwiches? Next year I will post some more with different materials in the sandwich. Click on it for a detailed view.

Multi stamped in purple family of colors

I enjoyed playing on this sheet of watercolor with a friend the other day. I used a foam stamp and a ready made one. Try taking parts of this image and use in a collage or card. Click on it to see the detail of the foam stamp.
